Standard Satin vs Lamour Satin???? Difference?

tracee563, on August 17, 2016 at 12:46 PM Posted in Planning 0 3

Can anyone explain to me the difference between the two? Is one nicer or look better? We are looking at napkins for the receptions - not that I am too concerned about it but I would just like to know what in the world is actually the difference.

I am have no idea so I am following to see the answers. Kind of weird to have satins for napkins. Does it actually do the job?

This is what I found when I did a simple google search

Satins are typically more shiny, and lamours are softer looking. Lamours are typically more expensive. If you like the shiny look, then go with Satins. If you prefer the softer look, then go with Lamours.

L'amour satin is a matte satin. It has a higher-scale look and feel to it, doesn't wrinkle as easily, and not as prone to showing imperfections in a glaring way.

Regular satin is shiny, with a smooth finish that wrinkles easily and shows all imperfections. It is easy to damage, as well.

I think for napkins, the L'amour option would be a better choice.
