I'm thinking of having a Stag and Drag Party. I'm looking at giving it a 1920's Speakeasy Theme. It will be in the winter months and I'm trying to come up with some inventive games that are easy money makers. Any ideas? BTW... I've already read some posts on other sites. BTW... I've already read some posts on other sites. If you are going to say it's tacky and not to have one... please don't. I know everyone is entitled to an opinion, but I'm not interested.

Thanks!!!

It is very common where I'm from (erie,pa)- I don't know of too many people who get married and do not have one! Mine is in July and along with games I'm auctioning off 2 coach purses- big screen tv- having chinese auction -and tons of bottles! Left, right, center dice game and cornhole tourney huge up here! Good luck and most of all enjoy! I have family down south who have never heard of so opinions are definitely going to differ upon location- don't take it personal! Smiley smile

It's a party or event where you and your fiance gather everyone and you can do raffles, gift basket giveaways, and etc and all the proceeds go towards your wedding day!!!!!!

Whatever you do, please do not call it a "Chinese auction." That is incredibly offensive and racist.

ETA: Dang it, zombie thread got me.

Fortunately, small games of chance licenses for these events are really easy to get. And for those saying just save the money you are spending to throw the party -- you obviously haven't been to a good one of these events. People willingly come for the food and drinks, and most love the small games of chance and raffles. A good on of these may cost $1000 to put together, but you end up profiting about $4,000 - $8,000. Traditionally we see these funds being used not for a wedding, but for something like a nice honeymoon or a good home improvement project if the bride and groom own a home. (Like a new air conditioner!)

To each their own, as always.

I can offer a new bingo game that plays as a tournament or live single table game.. its played much like a simplified holdem poker game, but its a bingo deck of cards that takes bets till a player makes bingo or 5 of the same letter. I think its going to be the biggest card game in the world. Its free to play on the site at bingo50.com . Check out the game and shoot me an email at **@*******.***
