The limited time targeted mitigation order was that one the governor put in place to ban indoor dining etc. in the middle of December that expired Jan. 4th and he didn’t reinstate it. Right now they’re going off of the occupancy calculator still. I agree the website wording is super confusing :/
Still moving forward with mine. All outdoor ceremony and reception. I have a hopeful feeling they will loosen restrictions a bit soon. Cases are hopefully going down with more vaccines being rolled out. Thinking positive thoughts for everyone!
We postponed from August 8, 2020 to May 21, 2021. We eloped in my backyard in Philly on 8/8 but are planning on having a reception in May to celebrate with family and friends. Our venue is outside a mansion in philly. I’m ok with dropping our 190 guest list to 120, but 😩. This is so hard! I just want to know what the new limits are so we can all stop stressing about this.
We are fighting with our venue about postponing our 90 person outdoor late-May wedding. We booked last year because the owner said that would we be able to postpone and we had a clause put in our contract. Our coordinator is saying that we could have the wedding with the current restrictions and won't consider postponing until 60 days out but she won't give us details on the capacity of the tent so we can confirm that they are following the current PA restrictions. We have another call with her tomorrow. Any advice for negotiating with them would be welcome. Wish us luck!
My fiance and I are still having our wedding ceremony on April 24th. We have made the decision to delay our reception until the end of July this year. Hoping things will be better then and hoping for the best for all of you planning a wedding in this crazy time!
Anyone on here that still hasn’t gotten married? I created a petition on change.org to up the occupancy of wedding. You just search Pennsylvania occupancy limit and it should come up!

We thought about rescheduling as 3 of hid groomsmen backed out and some people declined but we decided just to move forward. I can not take another year of waiting. We still have a good guest count and the wedding party was too big anyway lol

Amber I totally agree! The rules make no sense. They’re saying parties increases the spread catering halls in PA have been closed for one year. Thank you for signing. You made the right decision to not postpone again. What venue are you having it at?
Is anyone getting married at Rose Bank Winery by any chance? We already postponed from December to 5/8/21. They didn’t charge anything to move the first time and I’m waiting to get a call back from them to decide what we’re doing with May. They told us at the start of February that they were only allowing 100 people (including any staff, etc). Our guest list is 175. We already had a small wedding on our original date in December so the most important part is done! However the amount of money tied into all of this gives me a stomach ache. We don’t want a limited wedding AGAIN, we want to have the full deal that we planned. At this point it’s postpone to 2022 and maybe still cancel because who knows where we’ll be in 2 years, or just cancel altogether. Wanted to see if anyone is in the same boat and if this venue has given you any new information? I hope they get back to me soon, our planner strongly advised we make a decision now. ugh
It's progress! I'm a May 22 Bride and we just decided to switch venues because our first choice wasn't able to work with us on outdoor options. They did offer to refund us given the situation so hopefully the transition is smooth. We were looking at Ridgeland Mansion as an option but then we realized that Philadelphia is NOT lifting restrictions to match the PA restrictions. At least, not yet =( Stay strong ladies!
