For those of you who went with making their own Spotify playlist for the wedding, I’m curious: what device did you use? I assume not your own phone- I’m not sure of any MP3 players with touchscreens where you can use Spotify besides an iPod touch (my thought was an MP3 player where I could download my playlist would keep me covered in case of spotty WiFi), although I could just be missing options. I even considered getting a cheap monthly phone for just the month so I have lots of connection options. Did you use anything that worked well (or not?)

I'm doing the same! Imdownloading the playlist from Spotify on my phone and plugging it in the venues sound system via aux cord

I wish I had a suggestion for you! I was planning on having a string quartet for our ceremony, but now I’m considering the option of just making my own playlist. I have to idea what medium to use either though. Following this discussion in hopes that someone has an answer!

We used H's phone. Gave it to the DOC after the boys got ready and got it back when we were leaving. It wasn't a big deal.

I bought a new phone about a month before the ceremony so connected the old phone to the wifi and put it on silent. It worked quite well for us.
