@Danielle, you know they have a cookbook right? I think it's called, "By the Sackful" and yes, I own it. It's got recipes for WC lasagne, stuffing (I gotta tell you, it's not bad....) If you ever wondered what chefs eat in their spare time?

    WC's. With wine.

Umm, I once heard that Walmart paid for a couples wedding because they wanted to get married there but, seriously, you save money & pay for it yourself.

@Celia--I was not aware! I saw the recipe for Slyder Stuffing on WC's website and it's definitely on the list.

Before I met FH, I may have spent a Valentine's Day or two alone with a sack of Slyders and a bottle of red wine.

Paying for a wedding sucks, doesn't it? But, like a proper person, you suck it up and do it. Your party, your bill.

Perhaps we need more context on your situation, but the only time I've heard of this is for human interest stories on the news. Things like families who go through devastating loss and tragedy, and someone in the industry helps them. Outside of that, if you want a wedding, you pay for it.

    I'm with @FutureMrsH...

Interesting comments given there are some basic necessities that could be covered by a sponsor. For example, most weddings have some sort of alcohol involved and there are spirit companies that may be interested in sponsoring a cocktail hour with specialized cocktails. I run a tequila company and came across these posts while researching possible weddings to sponsor.

I know I am over a year seeing and responding to this thread, but I searched the forum for an answer, and was appalled at the responses. None of you were answering the question, just creating juvenile responses and even memes to the girls question. I really don't understand why asking a question became a judgment of her wishes. You don't know her circumstances, nor mine, and this was just...well, rude. How disappointing of women who are mature enough to be getting married. Ugh.
