For example an Ipad, Ipad mini, Xbox, Wii, TV, electric shaver, $800 camera, new washer, dryer, fridge and a few other things of that nature. Is that common for a gift registry? I've never seen items like that on a registry before nor would I put them on mine but I was just wondering if anyone else thinks its rude to ask your guests for these kinds of things?

E=mc makes a good point. If it were just one item, that would be different. I felt odd putting snorkeling gear, a hiking backpack and an underwater camera that we will be using on our honeymoon in Hawaii, but people on here assured that it wouldn't be strange because people like to buy fun things, especially things used for the honeymoon. So I do have 4 items on there that aren't typical.
