I haven’t done it yet but I was thinking of gathering framed photos of my family’s wedding pictures and placing those on a table by the place cards. Or maybe one on each table

We are having an Alice in Wonderland themed wedding. Tons of DIY and the theme is really personal to us.

Our first dance is to Running Home to You by Grant Gustin from The Flash CW which is a nod to FHs interests although I think the song is sooo romantic. One of our hors d'oeuvres is alcapurria which is my favorite childhood snack. It's delicious but there's no other reason that's on there.

Nothing too extreme, but our dogs are truly like our kids and everyone knows it, so we wanted to include them. They would hate being in a crowd of people, so instead of them attending I'm taking photos of them wearing "best pup" and "dog of honor" scarves which will be displayed at the wedding. We are also having dog treats "favors" with a sign saying "from our pups to yours".

We are using a globe as our guest book. We love to travel. I also love owls, so we found some for our cake topper.

We are having our place card be held with wine corks that we have drank while engaged. Inside the place card is the story of when we drank the wine and with whom. For example a couple of the corks will read “ we drank this bottle the night our parents met for the first time. “

My FH's favorite video game inspired our center pieces. Which I think is super neat!

My profession is performing in Opera/Musicals and its my fiance's hobby so our life is literally a musical. So we are adding small musical numbers in the wedding ( like 60 seconds each). We just don't want to annoy our guests but we want to entertain. Everyone knows how we perform on a daily basic sooo 😂. Anyway we are 'Opening' with Nicest Kids in Town from Hairspray where our wedding party will dance and sing and introduce themselves and it will end with 'The McIntires'(What the number it will make sense). Then our First dance is the instrumental of Music of the Night then we will sing a small portion of Phantom of the Opera and end with Mascarade with the bridal party. Thennn before our garder toss we will sing a small portion of summer lovin on opposite sides of the room with our bridal party. Then toasts will be with the Hamilton number(I secretly dont know about it 😉). Then lastly our exit with be Your the One that I want/We go together from grease. Plus I will change into white leather pants like Sandy but alllll white! We are weirdos but I love it!

I am going to make owls out of pine cones for my wedding. It will be next to a mini box of chocolate kisses.

The color of my dress was a big unique thing. Another thing we did was spend the whole day together, and had getting ready photos done together since we helped each other get dressed. We also walked down the aisle together. Then one of the many things no picked up on 🤣 Is the angel wings: I wore angel wing ear crawler earrings, to go with the angel wing design on our wedding cake. next our favor boxes we spray painted using angel wing stencils, but since the boxes were folded up no one could tell it was wings.

Well, there's only one me so that made it pretty unique...

But seriously. Husband is a pilot, and we ride bicycles together. Our centerpieces were paper airplanes instead of flowers, and we 3D printed little bicycles to attach to the escort cards. We also had people pin notes to a bicycle wheel as our guest book. For each table number we also had a little fact to correspond to the number (i.e. for Table 8 we have 8 nieces and nephews between us).

We're getting married in a cave, and instead of doing a usual sit down dinner with a caterer we are doing food trucks.

I'm half Saudi and he is part Irish, he calls me his "own personal princess jasmine" so I'm walking down the aisle to instrumental "A Whole New World" and will have henna. There will be an Irish handfasting element to the ceremony and then for the reception (after our first dance) we are both changing into comfy aladdin-ish leather slippers Smiley laugh

My grandmother died before she could see my wedding, so in memory of her I am going to have camellia flowers everywhere. Her nickname for me was Miss Camellia.

That is so cute!! Our dogs are like our kids, too. We hate that they can’t be there on the big day. They’re incorporated in our cake topper design and we were thinking of doing something photo-related with them since we’re using a few of those digital photo frames around the reception. We might steal your “best pup”/“dog of honor” idea! Smiley shame

Our tables numbers are going to be personal to us. For example, table #2175 will be the numbers of days from our first date to our wedding date. We gonna have little not on each table explaining their importance so they numbers won't seem to random/confusing.
