Depending on age, you could also put them in charge of the guestbook table. My 12 year old cousin is going to be in charge of it. Or handing out programs to people as they walk in.

I have seen some weddings where they have a child usually a by carry down a bible.

Kids love helping!

give them easy tasks like letting them take the napkins to the tables.

have them carry a sign "here comes Mr. and Mrs.____" as you walk back out the isle.

they can also pass out the favors.

or for your exit if you're having sparklers they can pass them out too.

when you cut the cake they can pass out the cake to the guest!

and well more like the 12/13 year olds usually stayed looking over the beer and giving it to them and they'd get tips from the guest.

They can be greeters - imagine how cute!

My two older grandsons are 10 and 12. I wanted to include them but we already had 5 gms so I used them as ushers/greeters. It worked out perfectly.
