Sparklers

Sara, on April 18, 2011 at 8:00 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 15

I am looking for sparklers and found some on amazon.

Is it legit to be buying fireworks online? I would imagine that amazon is reputable so they wouldn't allow the listing if it was a problem. Does anyone know where to get them from? Advise please :-)

I would just make sure that they are legal in your state or where you plan on using them. Here in MN, not too many fireworks are legal. Sparklers are though.

Buying them online should be fine. Lots of places can sell them all year long, but being able to buy them locally is a different story so people go online.

From what I read you can buy them online legally the federal government only require they are shipped by ground services.

I was just thinking yesterday I need to get my act together and order mine! My coordinator recommended getting 36 inch ones from the below site but I'm checking out Hayley's link because they would be cheaper!

I went ahead and ordered the 20 inch ones because they are cheaper and money is a bit tight other wise I would have liked the 36 inch ones. Thanks Hayley! I will be tying ribbons on them to make them cuter. I just need to figure out how I will display them...???

I know you already ordered them Sara but I read on various websites that any shorter than 36 inches don't last long enough to get the sparkler affect between the time it takes to light them all and timing of the bride and groom exit... just thought I'd warn you! I've read quite a few reviews where the sparklers were lit too early and the bride and groom were exiting to already burned down sparklers that were no longer lit Smiley sad Just a warning!

Maui- Thanks for the warning. I read the 20 inch lasts about 2 mins. That's doesn't seem long but as long as people have fun!

Amazon is actually selling them from a third party vendor, and their quality is lackluster at best. we offer a full selection of wedding sparklers at the best possible prices including:

    10 inch sparklers: http://weddingdaysparklers.com/10-inch-wedding-sparklers/

    20 inch sparklers: http://weddingdaysparklers.com/20-inch-wedding-sparklers/

    36 inch sparklers: http://weddingdaysparklers.com/36-inch-wedding-sparklers/

We also have color sparklers, shaped sparklers, and a bunch of other great items, so make sure to visit us at http://weddingdaysparklers.com/

Found some great deals on sparklers at http://www.eventswholesale.com/wedding-sparklers/

Also, there is a tutorial on lighting sparklers at http://www.eventswholesale.com/how-to-light-your-wedding-sparklers/ and how to avoid sparkler disaster at http://www.eventswholesale.com/how-to-avoid-a-wedding-sparkler-disaster/

If not used correctly, sparklers can actually be quite dangerous!
