Sparklers for grand exit

Kamilah, on February 26, 2016 at 8:02 AM Posted in Planning 0 10

So we are looking into maybe doing a sparkler grand exit. I've been looking around at different site trying to figure out a general price for them, but it seems like they are kinda all over the place.

Where did you ladies get your sparklers from? Did they last long enough for you photographer to take pictures? And would you recommend sparklers, or any other ideas for a grand exit?

Following! Thinking about doing this too!

As for where to get them... I live in NJ and I know if I go right over the border to PA they have firework outlets one of the bigger ones is phantom fireworks and I believe they have a website! However I'm not sure how shipping works or if they can because I would assume they are technically explosives

Just make sure you check your venue rules! Ours doesn't allow sparklers or confetti. I really wanted to do sparklers bur I took our dream venue over the sparklers lol

@Becoming a Mrs. Already checked and our venue does allow them. They actually suggested them to us because we weren't planning on doing anything originally.

@soon2bmrssoyka I've check both of those but the reviews on amazon are hit and miss. I'm just worried about buying them and they turn out to be duds haha

@Victoria I live in Utah and they only sell fireworks around July 4th and July 25th. I'll probably end up driving to Wyoming, the land of fireworks and sex shops lol

We got these sparklers: https://www.sparklersonline.com/wedding-sparklers-20-inch/ and they were perfect. They lasted a good amount of time, unfortunately though, our guests didn't stand close enough to us. But it was still fun.

I was also looking into them and this website has 20 inch sparklers that burn for 2-2.5 minutes and are smokeless so that pictures come out better. The price is not bad.

A helpful thread for me! Has anyone done the heart sparklers? Worth the extra $$? They don't burn as long...

I will have to search through emails to find the place I ordered from but my photographer told me to make sure they were smokeless and lasted at least 2 minutes.

@Kamilah - I'm so jealous your venue allows them!

@Britt - I would go with sparklers that last the longest, it can take awhile to wrangle all of your guests and get all the sparklers lit!

@WWLynnie I was actually shocked they allow them since we are getting married in a greenhouse! But I guess they don't allow confetti and birdseed because of all the plants!
