Sparklers - 20" or 36"

Kelly, on May 8, 2016 at 1:15 PM Posted in Planning 0 12

I've done enough research to know you don't want regular old short firework sparklers for an exit, but - brides - did you use 20" or 36" sparklers?? We will have about 165 people for whatever it's worth but highly doubt all of them will be around by the end of the evening. Sites to order from welcome suggestions, too. (I've found some via google but vetted ones would be great so I know they aren't crappy!) Thanks!

The first thing you need to do is verify that your venue allows them. I had some all picked out before finding out my venue doesn't. I deleted all my websites since I couldn't use them, sorry.

Ditto. Many of our venues don't.

My venue recommended Amazon to order the wedding sparklers . I would check there first.

If your venue allows it, get the longer ones. It takes a really long time to get those things lit!

I've attended 2 weddings with sparkler exits and maybe half of the guests stayed until the end. My family had to leave as they trigger our asthma - yes, even the smokeless one. At the one wedding, we read on the internet about wildfires in the area (southern California mountains). In fact, an entire cul de sac, in a town near the venue was destroyed by a fire, just the week before. I have no clue why their venue allowed it?

My friend bought sparklers for her daughters wedding, a few years before ours. Afterwards she said "I don't know what I was thinking. There was a bunch of drunks running around the parking lot, with fire."

I did 20", we probably had 40 people left at the end. We overbought so people could light more than one if they needed to. https://www.sparklersonline.com/wedding-sparklers-20-inch/
