Which would you recommend? Any specific brands for either of them?

I got a really light weight type of shapewear shorts, theyre lace and really breathable. I found them online and didn't know they were actually sheer lace, but they are.

I got the nude color which is a little more pink than most. cutest out of all the shapewear I checked out.

@Danielle - I have used that a few times, honestly was not that impressed. If you are looking for something longer than a couple hours and you are barely going to be sweating, it would probably be great. That really isn't the case for me though so it was not effective at all.

Hmmm. I just don't want to have to worry about going to the bathroom every hour to reapply chaffing cream lol! But we have an outdoor ceremony and somewhat outdoor reception. So Spanx I think would make me sweat too much.

Some ladies said to try like the spray deodorant? If you have time before the wedding I would say go to target/cvs, pick up a few of the different suggestions and give them a shot on a hot day and see how they fair! I know CVS has an amazing return policy so if you try it once and it doesn't work you aren't out a bunch of money for a product your not satisfied with! One thing I have heard of but haven't tried yet is using like some wraps just around your thighs to cut down on the chaffing. Haven't tried it but a few of my friends said it worked great for them!

Personally, I love Spanx as long as the only time your taking them off your not going to try and put them back on. You know what its like trying to get into wet jeans? Sweaty spanx, just as bad if not worse. If your only concern is the chaffing I definitely think their are better options.

I use bandalettes! I bought the black lace ones and they stay in place and you don't have to worry about dealing with annoying spanx! lol I got them from here: www.bandelettes.com/

I did some "off brand" spanx that I got from target. They worked well enough. I also put deodorant on my inner thighs just in case, which has worked well for me in the past in place of chaffing cream.

I love love love my Body Glide! I use it all the time in the summer with skirts. And it lasts for hours! You would not have to reapply every few hours...at least I never had to. However I did buy a really cute pair of biker type shorts, they're called Undersummers. And they're blue! They are light & feel almost like a slip. They call them a rash guard as well. Bought them on line.

Um, I have super fat thighs, and I wore a thong and nothing else under my dress. Hours and hours later, I was totally fine. Granted, it was in the 50's that day, but still....Keep in mind, I'm 5'4" and roughly 200 lbs.

Just ordered some Body Glide. I can't wait to try it! I can't stand having my thighs rub together and Texas humidity really doesn't help.

I have always had thunder thighs lol. The only time I have issues with chaffing Is when it's hot and sticky and I am doing a lot of walking. In a pinch I have used Vaseline but had to reapply later
