Spanish Wedding invites.... how do you word them?

Does your FH or future in-laws speak Spanish? Have them translate what you want to say. Definitely don't use the internet to translate - you'll end up with something that doesn't translate quite right and it will be awkward/embarassing!

@annakay511: they do but they ONLY speak Spanish. I asked them and they have no idea how the wording goes. I asked my mom and she didn't know either. It going to be a challenge trying to accommodate our Spanish and English speaking guests

I've been wondering this too! FH's family speaks Spanish and although most of them speak English pretty well, he'd like the invitations for them to be Spanish, for people like his Grandma who don't speak a lick of English lol. FMIL gave me some old invitations they'd received but like you said Future Mrs H, they all have parents names hosting and we want to say "together with our families". I'll try to upload some of the examples later tonight.

Most of my guest speak Spanish and I did the invites in English because it was a personal choice. If your are hosting the wedding I would change the wording to you and your FH name and then write together with their families in Spanish.

I also did some invitations in Spanish and some in English. Here's the Spanish version. I found a design I really liked and made a template for myself in publisher (took some time, but worth it). If you like this, let me know and I can send it to you. Good luck!

I don't mean to critique Christina at all because I imagine you've already sent your invite and the design is totally awesome. But if anyone else is looking to use that template, I'd have a native speaker look it over -- there are a couple of grammatical errors.

I'm not getting married until next year but I will be doing the same thing. I've also noticed almost all of them are worded that way. I'm going to have to put it together on my own by looking at the english ones.

I'm a BM in a friend's vow renewal this summer. Her side of the family speaks primarily Spanish. His speaks strictly English. She said they resolved the issue when they placed their order. Their guest list is 300. They each received 75 invitations. Hers are in Spanish and his are in English
