I'm assuming your venue allows outside caterers. If so, try calling around to a bunch of the Spanish restaurants. Often times they cater events. If they don’t provide full catering in terms of servers and stuff they will still set up the food and recommend a services to sere the food as well if you need that service too! good luck Smiley winking

I googled a few catering places for you, hopefully this will help...try Robert Ryan Catering (he's actually reviewed on WW)...also try Dos Camarones (I didn't see a website for this catering service though)...

    good luck!

I am using a caribbean caterer for my wedding and my wedding consultant had advised me to take into account when picking a restaurant if the establishment is used to using wait staff for catering...the food may be wonderful but the customer service/hospitality may not be if the wait staff is not accustomed to events of this nature...

That does sound like a great idea, I didn't think of that. I am from Brooklyn New York and know many restaurants that I love over there but here in PA is a different story, I haven't found one that I am crazy for maybe because they are hidden somewhere and I can't find them. Thank you all for your ideas I appreciate it.

If you can go visit them the one in Lebanon I hear is great, I have to go try it out myself, I am in Lancaster and I am puertorican but I can't say we have great spanish restaurants, then I again I also came from NY and OMG, so many great spanish restaurants.

The two I like that are here are donimincan but its kind of hit or miss, however like I said before people really rave about the Lebanon one.

Thanks Trish I will look into that....

Linda I was more into maybe Cuban, Dominican-puertorican kind of food..My wedding is going to be outdoors (under a tent)and I am having the food buffet style this way people can serve themselves what they like but I am having all different types of food not just Latino, I was just looking for somewhere I can get some rice, beans (deliciously cooked), pork, roasted chicken, and maybe Yuca, plantains etc. It's hard looking for somewhere that can cook this kind of stuff perfectly.

It's nice to know that there's advice here at the wedding wire, I really appreciate it...I am actually not hiring any outside people for waiting, I have a friend that knows a few people that do this kind of work already and I personally know them aswell.

OMG Lovely all the way in Houston looking for puertorican food, Good luck to you!!

I did a wedding recently with 3 - 4 different restaurants catering in. All they did was deliver and set up their respective stations, and the bride and groom hired servers to set up and bus tables, etc. I would contact a few restaurants that serve the type of food you want and ask if they can do catering. Chances are, especially if its a place you frequent, they will be happy to help.
