Sorry for another post! More opinions please

Serena, on April 20, 2020 at 2:08 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 36
So it seems I've been posting a lot lately and I apologize for that!

WW has been my go to when needing unbiased opinions. Thank you all for that!
Bored at home yesterday, I decided to play dress up in my wedding gown. I've been in a fluff when trying to figure out my hairstyle. I was 100% confident I wanted all down, just because that's me lol. Yesterday, I did a terrible pin job of my hair in an updo to get the idea. I was wowed by it! So then I was pretty sure I wanted my hair up. But! My friends and family are giving me mixed reactions. It seems those who are a little older prefers hair up, where my younger group (20s) prefers down. Now I don't know 🤦
Love or hate, what are your thoughts between the two.... I just want to look the best version of me, whichever it may be.
Thank youSorry for another post! More opinions please 1

I absolutely love your hair down. I guess I'm 22, so I'm part of the "younger" group. Your hair is soooooo pretty! I would want to show that off!

I think down looks more youthful, playful and romantic. Up looks more mature, regal and timeless. I love both. But ... I think I’m leaning more towards down.

Maybe try a half up half down! I wanted my hair down too (I’m 22) but realized it would get in my face and annoy me all night lol. Both look great though!

I don't think you can go wrong with either option, but I prefer down.

Oh gosh you look gorgeous with both hairstyles!! I would say up for the ceremony and then down for the reception? Or find a half up/half down style? That’s what I am settling with for myself.
This is the hairstyle I’ve chosen for my big day in October Sorry for another post! More opinions please 3

I actually think half up half down would be perfect. It would stay out of your face for pictures too 🙂

Looks beautiful either way, but I like the updo with it being down I feel it’s taking away from your face. Or you can do half up half down like the pp suggested.

So here's the thing with half dos for me... I have a tall forehead so I feel like a half do emphasizes that. I tried one at my fitting and quickly eliminated it. But of course a professional would be MUCH better than me lol! Sorry for another post! More opinions please 4

I think up! It looks timeless, really opens up your face, and it shows off your beautiful shoulders!

You look beautiful! I think both hairstyles are gorgeous on you. I just love how elegant you look with hair style number 1.

I would do half up half down but not the way you have it in this photo. In this photo you have it pulled straight back and since you said you don't like your forehead emphasized then don't pull it straight back. Do something like this:

Oooh! That's pretty! Yeah I literally never style my hair besides down, so I didn't know what I was doing haha. I'll have to try that! Thank you!

I like it up with the dress! You could always have it up for ceremony then have it down for the reception! And I’m with you when it comes to half up half down, I don’t like how my hair parts so my stylists suggested instead of pulling straight back, kind of wrap around.

I wondered if I could do that. Take all the pins out and it still look good? You need to get your dress back so you can play around!

I think it looks great both ways but love it down!! If your dress had a pretty back you wanted to show off then I would say up. I had the same debate with myself and I’m going to do half up half down😊
