Sooo, I forgot to put the time of my ceremony on my invites...

Liz, on February 24, 2013 at 4:20 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 17

Do I just slip a piece of paper into the envelope with the time? lol

I think that would be fine. I know some people have messed up and where ever they ordered from offered them a discount to reorder. You could check on that. Otherwise, I say just put a piece of paper in there that says the time. Sounds like something I would do though! Haha

Ha! I can totally see myself doing that-- thank goodness I took detailed oriented DH with me when I ordered my invites-- but I wouldn't have realized it till my guests started calling, saying, 'what time hsould I be there?' Add a piece of paper, put it on your website, if you have one, or, if worse comes to worst, scribble it in-- it'll make your invites completely unique!

Ha! That's awesome. Are you doing OOT gift bags? You can include it in there for the day before the wedding and just add it to your site. Also use family to spread the word.

We changed the time of our welcome reception by a half hour about a month ago. I used word of mouth

Other brides on here have had FANTASTIC experiences with their customer service. It may be worth giving them a call and seeing what they can do for you.

Give them a call, I'm sure they'll be helpful! If it doesn't work out, slipping a little paper in would be just fine. You could find ways to make it match and be sweet Smiley smile

Oh no Liz! Give them a call or see if you can cancel the order asap, then place a new order. If you ordered it over the weekend maybe it hasn't been processed yet?

I had a typo and I changed the invites through VP. It was within a few hours of ordering though. You should def. call them ASAP!

Ya I'll definitely will give them a call. I just hate wasting the material, but if it hasn't been printed then that's awesome. I really have no problem writing a personalized note about the time and making it cutesy lol.

If you can't get a fresh batch printed what about cute little stickers to add to the invites with the time on them.
