We're not choosing songs for cocktail hour or dinner. We just gave our DJ a general idea of what kind of music and trusted that he can do his job.

We have two processional songs. One for the family and BP, one for me.

    One song for recessional.

One-two songs for the grand entrance into the reception. Haven't decided if we really need our own.

    One first dance song.

    Two spotlight dances

We're not selecting a cake cutting song.

    Last dance song.

If you're doing any tosses, some couples select songs for those.

I had guests requests songs so there was a list for my DJ and he also had his own songs
Ceremony everyone went down to Dan and shay speechless but instrumental
Reception only I had a grand entrance with my husband to remix of Bruno Mars marry you
I don't remember what was for cake cutting
First dance to Gavin degraw more than anyone
I suggest you think about songs you personally love or are meaningful to you

    Wendy,

We're not using a DJ. We have over 2hrs of instrumental music for dining (more than we need) 5 hrs for dancing (way more than we need)

    You are right many songs

Ceremony bridal party entrance: Canon in D for parents and bridesmaids. Clair de Lune for my processional. Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran for the recessional.
Reception Bridal party entrance: Such Great Heights by The Postal Service.
First dance: Recycled Air (acoustic) by The Postal Service.
