Song to honor parents...

Katie, on September 16, 2011 at 11:04 PM Posted in Planning 0 11

Every time I try searching for songs on google for songs to play during our flower ceremony to honor our parents I just get ideas for deceased parents. I want something for our living parents. Any ideas are VERY welcome.

I wish it was that easy. My parents are divorced.

My mom done told me not do a song for them to dance, since they are divorced. Are they remarried?

Do you need a song? Usually, I am talking while my couples give their parents flowers, so it's not necessary....

I want a song because music was a big part of growing up for us.

They are divorced. I'm not intentionally shooting down ideas, but I need to include both all parents and when they aren't married it makes it hard.

Have you considered "You Raise Me Up" by Josh Groban?

Another thought: if you want to honor your parents, have you considered doing their wedding song?
