Song Suggestions For Daddy-duaghter Dance..when it’s not my father dancing with me

Miranda, on November 17, 2019 at 10:41 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 3
I know this sounds confusing! I will spare my life details, but essentially my family has been out of my life for five years now. I have a male cousin who I have always looked to as my big brother and constant support when life would try to knock me down since I’ve been on my own. I want to do a special dance with him in replacement of the daddy-daughter dance

Right now I have my top choice in song as “My Wish” by Rascall Flatts. I LOVE country, so I’d love to do a song that has more acoustic or country tone. Any help would be SO appreciated!!!

I would try a slow tempo and and then switch to a up beat song. Instead if going traditional with one song do two or three snippets of yall fav song. Or you can look on YouTube for ideas. You can even do a line dance, your guests will be on their toes. Good luck my friend ♥️🤞🏾

I think that is so sweet that you will share a dance with your cousin.

I’m not super familiar with country music, however, here are some song suggestions I think would be perfect -

    “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac

“One Call Away” by Charlie Puth

"I'll Be There" by Jackson 5

“What A Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong
