I completely understand! I originally had chosen “I loved her first” for my dad and “stealing Cinderella” for my step-dad and I thought both of those were really good. I have now settled on “Just Fishing” for my step-dad because I can remember up even until now going out just him and I fishing. It is not your typical father/daughter song but it really speaks about our relationship.

Just find something that means a lot to you and go with it. Hopefully everyone with understand and not have any hurt feelings. Good luck!!

My step-dad and I will be dancing to Brad Paisley- He didn't have to be.

My dad was never in the picture and my mom married a couple times after that. My step-dad stayed my dad even after they divorced. He is very important to me because of the way he accepted me and treated me as his own.
