Hey everyone! My wedding is in 4 weeks and I meet with the DJ in 2 days. I have chosen all of my important wedding songs (let me know if I missed any!)

Bridal party ceremony walk out: can’t help falling in Love instrumental

Bride and father walk out ceremony: thousand years instrumental

Ceremony exit song: forever now- say yes to the dress theme song

Bridal party Reception entrance: Can’t stop the feeling Justin Timberlake

Reception hub and wife walk out:

September - Earth Wind and Fire. (Because we get married on the 21st night of September and that’s the first line of the song, we love it! And it’s such a jam lol!)

Our first dance song: Love someone lukas grahm

Father daughter dance: my little girl by Tim mcgraw

Mother son dance: humble and kind by Tim mcgraw

(willing to change this because I don’t want Tim McGraw to play back to back, drop ideas!!)

Groom Getting the guarder: Marvyn gay - lets get it on.

Catching the bouquet: dear future husband - Megan trainer

Catching the guarder- Who let the dogs out

Putting guarder on girl: suit and tie Justin Timberlake

Cutting the cake: sugar sugar - the Archies
Last dance song: last dance by Donna summer

Ughhh my friends BEGGED me to get married on september 21 strictly because of the song september by earth wind and fire. I chose the 28th because we started dating on the 27, engaged on the 29th so i figured why not get married on the 28th. Luckily I have a band and they will be changing that song to say “do you remember, the 28th night of september

It looks like you’ve got everything covered, Vanessa
Are you picking any interlude music for during the ceremony? Are there any breaks during the ceremony when no one will be speaking such as a candle lighting or other ceremony rituals you will need music for?
I love your choice for the reception bride and groom entrance. It is such a jam and will get everyone on their feet!

Good question! We are going a unity cross so we will not be needing any music due to there being a scripture for our officiant to say while we assemble our unity cross. 💛

I wanted to get married September 21st and no one was changing my mind! We live in FL and it still tends to be pretty hot here in September so fingers crossed for nice weather, just for the ceremony lol. Reception is inside
