Song choices! Help!

Katy , on July 19, 2019 at 6:38 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 1 12
14 days away and I have yet to decide what songs I want to use for my professional, first dance, and pretty much everything I could need a song for. I have a list of songs I really like but I just need recommendations on which ones to go with. Any of these songs seem good to anyone for anything specific? Or any I should definitely not use?

I think A Thousand Years would be pretty to walk down to. I'm sure I've heard some of the others but I don't really know them so I have no other comments. Lol

    Here’s what I’m using:
Grandmothers Song : What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong
Mothers Song: Thousand Years by Piano Guys
Bridesmaids/Ushers: Beethoven 5 Secrets by Piano Guys
My Song: At Last by Cyndi Lauper

Yeah that’s the only reason I’m debating it. I see so many people here complaining about Ed Sheeran being overused. Like I’m waiting for a bunch of people to bombard me with “why would you use his music it’s so overdone ew” comments😂

I really like that song. It’s the one my fiancé’s dad and step mom used at their wedding so I know they would like it.

You could also use an instrumental version of perfect, I think the piano guys do one and it’s beautifully done Smiley smile

I'd put thousand years RIGHT up next to Ed Sheeran, if not maybe even more over done. I like "I won't give up" for a first dance.

Processional: I Get To Love You - Ruelle

Recessional: I Choose You - Sara Bareilles

Our first dance song will be Sara Bareilles' version of "Tightrope" from The Greatest Showman Reimagined album. It's much slower and LUSH! We are in the middle fo dance classes to knock the dance outta the park
