Something Borrowed, New, Old, Blue Ideas

This is what I am doing:

Something Old: My cowboy boots

Something New: My Dress, Veil, and Jewelry

Something Borrowed: My mother's locket I will wrap around my bouquet

Something Blue: "I DO" rhinestones I will stick to the bottom of my boots

Traditionally, your something borrowed should come from a woman in your life who has had a long, successful marriage. The idea is that you're "borrowing" her luck. For your something old, if you have a loved one who has passed, you could use a scrap of their clothing as your bouquet wrap, or sew it into your dress. You could have an old photo of a family member as a charm in your bouquet.

Something Old: Vintage shoes.

Something New: Hair accessories, dress, jewelry

Something Borrowed: Crinoline skirt from mother. She was going to bring an opal bracelet for the reception as well but forgot.

Something Blue: Dress underlay and jewelry.

.. And I had a six-pence in my shoe!

Old: I wore my moms garter, I also was able to cut her dress and wrap the lace around mine, my sisters, and my moms flowers that we all carried.

New: My dress/shoes/jewlery

Borrowed: I asked each of my grandmas for a broach that I could attach to my flowers, it was really special and I gave them back after the wedding.

Blue: I attached blue flowers to my moms old garter.
