Software/Program to create a slideshow with background music...

Can any of you point me in the right direction. I'm looking for a program whereby I can make a slideshow out of pics of my cat who died yesterday (we had to put her to sleep). And I would like to be able to add some music in the background too.

Here are a few pics of my baby Taz. I had her for 14 years and she had renal cancer. TIA!

i made a slideshow of pictures with a song for my sisters wedding using powerpoint..

@Ashley-thanks. I have powerpoint but I guess I never thought about it because I don't use it, I just use Microsoft Word and Publisher. Great, at least I already have the software!

Not sure what kind of computer you use but if you by chance use a Mac iMovie HD is the best and it's already installed. If you use a PC then powerpoint is a great choice.

Www.animoto.com - no special software. Just a website that lets you do slideshows with pics and music.
You put the pics and pick a song and the slideshow transition bases itself off the song speed (I think).

What a gorgeous kitty! You were so lucky to be her mom and I'm sure she felt lucky to have you! I think it's very sweet of you to want to create a tribute like this to her memory. *hug*
