Softening a veil?

Hi everyone! I got my veil today and it's beautiful! The only downside is it feels a little stiff.... It's made of tulle, does anyone know how to soften the tulle to make it move better? I have lots of time if it just hangs will it soften on its own?

Steaming it may soften it a bit. I don't think it will relax on it's own, though.

When i google "how to soften a tulle veil" it says they can be steamed a bit to help. but it may not make any difference. its just different types of tulle are stiffer than others.

Hanging won't soften it. Steam may soften it a little. Different types of tulle are just stiffer than others.
