Soft drinks?

Yikes! I didn't read any of the comments but I would at the VERY least offer my guests soft drinks, water, lemonade, coffee and tea. Waste would be the very last thing I would be worried about, my guests being happy would be first.

Well, that's against the CG's, so you actually can't, and I'll be flagging you. As far as my wedding, I'm already married, and I treated my guests to a 5-hour, full open bar, because I actually cared about hosting them properly. It's what you do when people take time out of their busy lives to come celebrate your union and bring you gifts. But you have a blessed day, dear.
