So i went dress shopping at David's Bridal today...

And it went much better than I had ever expected!!! I've heard so many mixed reviews for DB and I wasn't really excited about going dress shopping, but it was honestly such a good time. Since FMIL passed in July it's been a hard time planning and things since he has to sell the house and go through her estate, which in turn made me not want to go. When I went my sales woman was super friendly!! I told her that I'm going in with an open mind and that I'm willing to try on anything as long as it wasn't a ball gown, mermaid, or strapless. We showed her some photos and she let us pull our own gowns, as well as her grabbing a few wild cards for me! Overall it was just a really good time and I actually enjoyed it and made me get more giddy for the wedding!!

I just wanted to let other girls who don't want to go shopping or are skeptical of DB that I had an amazing time. I didn't say yes to the dress because I want to shop a little more before agreeing, but it is possible I might get my dress there. I'll post photos in the comments of my two contenders!!
