So I hate all my engagement photos...

I liked about 10 of our 100 engagement photos. It was the photography, it was me. I just didn't like how I look. I wasn't in the greatest of moods that day so I think that had something to do with it. Don't worry too much about it. The wedding will be much better!!!

I HATED my e pics when I got them back. I looked at them again a few months later and I love them.

Sometimes, it's just weird to see yourself in professional pictures.

This is actually a good thing. And this is also the reason why so many wedding photographers include an engagement session in their package -- so that you can scrutinize the photos and communicate with your photographer about exactly what you didn't like. You should definitely have that discussion so that your photographer knows what angles you prefer and how you like to be shot. This will make it more likely that you'll like your wedding photos.

BTW, I actually like the way you look in your photos! It might be that you're being hard on yourself. Put them aside for a few days and then come back and see if you hate them as much. If you do, definitely have a conversation with your photographer.

I think that you are being overly harsh on yourself. I don't notice a prominent lazy eye in that one. But if you have 5 that you like, then use those 5. How many do you need? Are you using the same photographer for the wedding? Maybe you can discuss some of the things you didn't like about them with him/her and then they can work to make sure your wedding pictures are more what you want or they can give you pointers.

I am very critical of how I look in pics too, and I feel like FH is always cute looking. I figure that my photographers will probably take hundreds of pics at our wedding so I am telling myself that there will probably be some that I like.

The thing is.. engagement pics ARE kind of awkward! Personally when engagement pics started being commonplace and I first saw engagement shoots on Facebook I thought it was the weirdest thing. To me they are kind of unnatural. My husband and I opted out of an engagement shoot.

You hired the wrong style photographer for you. When capturing natural, they are less posed....I also think there is nothing wrong with how you look, don't be that bride.
