Yeah... hate them. Can't really blame it on the photographer. FH looks pretty awesome in them. I've never been a photogenic person and this was a sad reality check. I have 4 months to learn how to take a photo Ffs ETA: Thank you everyone. Though I didn't post the ones that really made me cringe, except for the first, maybe you're all right. I'm being overly critical. I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one that hated theirs at first and that they may grow on me. I never thought of it as an opportunity to discuss what I like and dislike with the photographer. And yes, same photographer for the wedding

I can empathize. FH looked great but I think out of the 60 pics we got back I liked /maybe/ 5 of them.

This is my biggest fear about our wedding photos. I absolutely hated my high school graduation photos and had them taken twice...can't do that if our wedding photos suck, though.

This was my biggest fear and then we didn't get them back. They got lost. Soooo now that's just my biggest fear about my bridals that I should get back sometime this week.

Awww I have a feeling you are probably just being hard on yourself.

A story to make you feel better.... I did a bridal photo shoot with my FIL at his insistence. Im glad I did, but out of the hundreds he took, I only really like a handful! However, I LOVE almost every single one of my wedding photos! The difference being I am not comfortable being all posey-posey and trying to look good for a photo shoot, whereas the wedding photographer captured the pure, authentic joy of the day!

This might sound far fetched but I wonder if you can research if there are classes in your area? Or if there is a photographer that would be willing to spend some time with you.., teach you your best angles, how to stands... Where to look Tex?
