So how much boob is too much boob?

So I have naturally large breasts and no hips which made wedding dress shopping very very hard. The dress i found shows a lot of cleavage. While it doesn't seem that bad when I'm trying it on, I truly wonder if it's offensive or looks tacky. I know some will look at me and say "it looks great" but...

Pic below. My boobs require adjustment but you get the gist. Please be honest.

I don't have pictures of my actual dress (I have a horrible habit of staring at pictures until I find something to hate about them lol), and the picture online doesn't really show it well, but here's a similar neckline to what the dress originally looked like:

I ordered mine to essentially be seamed all the way up the v, and it looks something like this:

It still has the sweetheart neckline shape, just none of the mesh/ plunge in the center.

Ahhh perfect explanation! I never thought about that and it was not offered as option by seamstress. I'll see about that. Thanks

Glad you can consider that option to join both sides. I tend to like the dresses better without having illusion mesh unless there is lace or appliques. But good if that works out by joining the sides. It think the dress would work out nice either way though.

Honestly, people are going to like/dislke your dress no matter if you have cleavage or not! Personally, I think it looks KILLER. My dress has a super deep V (I have a sternum tattoo I wanted to show off) and will definitely not go down as my grandma's favorite, but I'm comfortable and that's what matters! Think about how you feel, not about if it's "appropriate" or not because honestly, that's an opinion and you'll have no idea who thinks it's appropriate and who doesn't!

Originally I was going to get a deep V dress to show off my sternum tattoo, but as my mum is paying for my dress and she says that “tattoos make brides look cheap” that was taken off my list. Ended up with an amazing dress and we are actually customizing it as well so I got what I loved in the end, but so long as your comfortable that’s the most important thing beautiful.
