Snow?

Nichole, on January 3, 2020 at 5:43 PM Posted in Planning 0 6
So my fiancé, our kids and I went on vacation to the white mountains this last week!
We originally were going to have our wedding here in Florida but then I had a dream we got married in the mountains.
My family lives in NH so he said it wouldn’t be fair if we did it there so we agreed on Tennessee. Well now he’s seen the white mountains and is in love lol so now we’ve decided we’re going to do it there and stay in North Conway . So my question is have you attended a ceremony in the snow ? Have you had a winter / snow ceremony? What’re your thoughts? Tips , tricks , advice , etc !!
PsWe’re renting a big air bnb for the ceremony which is actually just gonna be kind of a party 🤷🏼‍♀️ So that’s indoors

I don't have any experience, but just a heads up that Airbnb no longer allows party houses due to a recent shooting.

I'm planning my wedding in northern Michigan in the winter. My number one tip is make sure you have clothes that are warm! If you want outdoor photos you don't want to freeze!

My FSIL got married last December in Phoenix. It wasn’t snowing but it was outside & like 50 degrees. She got fur wraps for the bridesmaids to stay warm for pictures. Just don’t make the ceremony long & it’ll be okay. We were cold for 20 mins but it wasn’t terrible. I think that sounds beautiful btw 😊

Oh I love snowy weddings Smiley love
Definitely have blankets for guests to wrap up in if they want to step outside for a cigarette, etc. I think this is a nice touch!
You should check out Pinterest for some snowy wedding planning inspiration!

How many guests are you planning on inviting? Will everyone be able to stay at the Airbnb?

Everyone will be staying at the air bnb unless they decide they want to stay somewhere else . It will just be some family who lives around there , and our bridal party and their significant others
