Christi, on March 11, 2020 at 6:15 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 19
I have a partial knee replacement last year and dress shoes are still an issue. I keep seeing the ads for Converse and other companies that have wedding sneakees. I want to be comfortable yet beautiful on my wedding date. What arr yalls thoughts on Wedding bSneakers.

I love it! I bought one fancy sparkly pair of flats for the ceremony and then some cute ballet slippers for the reception both under $100. You want to make sure you’re comfortable and able to party all night without your feet hurting! Plus no one is gonna really see your feet. You could also opt for sneakers for the reception and whatever other shoe for the ceremony!

No one sees your shoes anyway, may as well wear something comfortable.

I think people should understand why you are wearing sneakers. If they are coming to your wedding then they are pretty close to you.

I'm wearing custom embroided chucks (converse) to my wedding. I wanted to find a way to incorporate my heritage and thought it would be cute to do so with my shoes.

I really wanted to, but my mom hated the idea, so I will be in flats. I LOVE the Kate Spade ones and will be wearing them at my bachelorette party.

I'm wearing custom converse under my dress! I don't think it's a problem - do what makes you comfy! You don't want to be miserable on your big day.

There's all kinds of beautiful platforms in heels and sandals that are thick and even leveled at the soul. You can still get a wedding look with a bad knee and not need to wear sneakers on your wedding day.

It’s fine with me. My friend did converse shoes for her wedding and you couldn’t even tell because her gown was long anyway

I love the idea!! I HATE wearing heels, and I know I would just end up taking them off by the end of the ceremony, so I’ll be doing something similar. Be comfortable! People will barely see your shoes anyways

Our entire wedding party is wearing converse. We didn't want people buying fancy shoes they'd only wear once and then never again. The other thought process was that I never intended to wear heels, and it didn't seem right to expect the bridal party to do something that I, myself wasn't willing to do.

My mom isn't a huge fan of it, but everyone in the bridal party is wearing floor length dresses, so you won't be able to see them any way

Yes!!! I'm wearing my bridal kate spade keds (champion). Can't wait!! My mom was against it until she saw them with my dress. More than likely you won't see them, so do you! Be comfortable!

I’m wearing moccasins....like the slippers. We are getting married in the fall and I wear them everywhere so I was like why not fancy up a pair for my wedding day?! You want to be comfortable. I’ve seen a TON of cute sneakers for weddings. I keep getting ads for Ked’s, who partnered with Kate Spade, and they made some really glittery and pretty sneakers. You could always look at something like that. But it’s the norm now, so I say go for it!

My daughter suggested this to me. I can’t wear heals and my fiancé is shorter then me. I bought some keds (think comfort) and am putting rhinestones on them. I googled how and found a video. The bling will be bride appropriate and comfortable. Just do it!!

Wear what you will be comfortable in. That’s what my opinion is. Dresses are long anyway they won’t be able to see it even if they do it’s your wedding.

You can totally wear what you want on your day. Sneakers, converse, flats, it doesn't matter! As long as you're comfortable Smiley smile
