Has anyone dealt with the company. I feel like my husband and I got scammed by them. Just wondering if anyone else out there has had a similar issue with them.

Don't write a formal review in the forums, because it'll just get flagged and deleted. But what happened?

They misrepresented themselves. I had an issue with the photographer and when I called the company to complain on Monday, I complained to the office manager, Mary who told me that the photographer called her after our wedding because she knew we would call to complain. This Mary person acted like she was not present at the wedding and defended the companies actions the whole time. Well after researching their website I found out that the office manager was actually the same person that took our pictures that day! She acted like she was someone different. Then I asked to go above her and was told that the only person above her was the minister that performed our service, which I also had issues with him as he was not well groomed. He had a stain on his shirt, dandruff on his lapel, his fingers were stained with nicotine and his bottom teeth were black! They sent me some of my pictures, but didn't send any family pictures and now wants us to pay 150 to get the CD of all of them.

I don't want to give them anymore of my money! I was treated awful on my wedding day by the photographer which is a whole other story, but basically they made me do poses that I didn't feel comfortable doing even though I was a paying customer and it was my wedding day!

I filed a complaint with the BBB but I don't know what other course of action I can take.

We used this company August 9th, 2011 for a very simple ceremony with 30 guests. Ten minutes BEFORE the ceremony was supposed to start Pastor Buddy starting calling me and my husbands phones asking where we were. Then harassed us the entire time about how much time we had left. He was rude to not only us but to our guests and family as well. His breath was awful, his robes were filthy and his face is red(like an alcoholics would be). He also charged us an additional $100 for being "late" when this company gave us the wrong address to the ceremony location to begin with! How could we be on time if we were given the wrong information? We both tried to call him to speak with him about that fact and he would not take any of our phone calls to help resolve this issue! I warn any bride coming from out of state to not use this company! Please join our FB group Smokey Mountain Wedding was Horrible!!!

Having JUST come from our wedding ceremony performed by Pastor Kenner and arranged by smoky mountain I have to honestly say that the service we received was absolutely wonderful, not only was everything as described on their website but they were also very accommodating when we requested a last minute venue change. Pastor Kemner made what could have been a very nerve wracking event relaxed and enjoyable and my wife and I are thankful to him for that. I have read other reviews here posting negative comments, one in particular complaining about being called 10 minutes before the ceremony being asked their whereabouts, the staff at smoky mountain made it very clear to US that we were to be at the venue at least 15 minutes in advance, and it states that on the website too very clearly.

I would highly recommend their services to anyone.
