I would love to have this a very sweet and enjoyable moment to remember with fun activities or ideas..thank you all.

We have 60 total and are doing it at a bar/restaurant. So we can still have music and dancing. The venue has pool tables, ping pong tables and a small arcade. Maybe look in to a restaurant with something fun on site?

We had an afternoon wedding with a small reception after, about 30 people. We didn’t do dancing. Just a few “traditions,” some speeches, conversation, light music. It was great!

We’re having 60 people as well. However, we are going to have a cocktail hour after the ceremony and then dinner and dancing for the reception (we aren’t doing a garter/bouquet toss).

But in your case, after dinner I would do the cake cutting, guests eat cake and then you and your husband do a grand exit. Non-dancing receptions only get boring if there is a lot of time and that the only thing to do is sit and talk to the people at your table. To avoid that, just end the reception with an nice exit. Another thing to do is have an earlier wedding (like brunch time)

So I went to a wedding over this weekend with around 70-80 people and they had no planned events e.g. no first dance or bouquet garter tosses or cake cutting and no dancing in general. They had a station to write date night ideas, a photobooth station, and a book passed around of wedding mad libs. I think people can self entertain themselves or amongst themselves

A DIY photo booth would probably be lots of fun. Buy a back drop and fun props from the party store and set up a corner where people can take their own photos. If you want some games there are great ideas all over the internet, but a fun on is a who knows the couples best quiz, where you have a list of questions about you (where was your first kiss, who is a better cook, etc) and people fill it out for a prize.

If its possible within your budget and allowed at your venue. you could also talk to your caterer about some sort of DIY dessert station. For example, my venue/caterer offers a gourmet coffee station where they put out all sorts of coffee and hot cocoa with toppings and flavored syrups. Could work great with the cold weather.
