I went to my final fitting yesterday and the dress fit great. Finally the right length and everything. I do have a small problem. The dress has boning in it and so the bust of the dress has enough room in it to fill a C- possibly D cup. I am unfortunately a B and with the back being so low I cant wear a strapless bra to pull up my chest and fill the space. She put in push up cups but even with that I feel like if someone taller than me was next to me they could see the huge space between my chest and the dress. The woman doing the alterations said that if she pulled in the top I wouldn't be able to function freely and I wouldn't look natural. I just want to know if anyone has had this issue and if you found a solution.

I didn't notice anything unnatural about the picture you posted.

I have the same problem. My seamstress is bringing it in as much as she can on the sides, but she can't do much about the shape that the boning gives to the dress (I'm a B, but the boning puts the dress at more of a C). I had bought some sticky cups from Victoria's Secret, but while they gave me more support that wearing nothing, it really wasn't doing much for me cup wise. So I went back to Victoria's Secret and they had a different sort of back-less bra option that had some padding and underwire like a full push up bra, but with stickies on the side instead of a full back. I haven't tried it on with the dress yet, but trying it on with my normal clothes did seem to give me at least a little bit of a fuller look and bringing the dress in on the sides will ensure there's no gaping on the top of the dress so even if I'm not filling out the dress as much as I could be, no one's going to notice unless I point it out to them.

I don't think you look unnatural at all in your dress, and taking it in wherever possible should help with any gaping. Good luck!

It really just looks like that is your body and not the dress. This is my second marriage and my dress the first time was like that. No one ever noticed because the boning holds the shape of the dress.

Thanks Emily. I'm happy I'm not alone. Once the padding is in I hope it will help with filling it out. I think as long as it us filled it wont be so bad.
