Small and intimate wedding venue in Maine?

Hi there! My FH and I are getting married in southern Maine next summer, and I am having the hardest time finding a venue that I like. Ideally, we'd like to have a small, intimate ceremony and dinner since our guest list consists of 55 of our closest family members and friends. Most places seem too large or they're way outside of our budget.


Any ideas on where to have an intimate ceremony and dinner for about 55? I've searched this site, The Knot, Here Comes the Guide and I've even creeped through Instagram, but maybe I'm missing something.

    Unsure your budget but Hardy Farm is beautiful and has more budget friendly options (like Sunday weddings), they supply farm tables and chairs, based on size you can host in their beautiful barn or under their tent

    Not sure what exactly you’re looking for but check out The Carriage House in Lewiston. We specifically chose this place because it was well priced and included basically everything. The owner, Jackie, is amazing and has done this for many years. Tell her Elise Presby sent you! My FW and I are getting married there October 5, 2019!

    Wolfe’s Neck Farm in Freeport is a gorgeous venue! They have a wedding field as well as a barn.

    The Governor Hill Mansion is Augusta is where we are having ours! It is an all inclusive venue and was cheaper than our DIY at our B&B!
