Mary, on November 6, 2019 at 7:44 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4
Ok I bought a dress and I'm goin to Michigan for my wedding in June and I was wondering do I wear a slip or don't wear a slip. It doesn show anything. Also I need help I'm getting married in a bed and breakfast and the stairs are kind of steep and the ceremony is goin to be out in the garden and I was wondering I need some help with what kind of shoes to wear I havent got my dress altered yet I can't make up my mind. Another thing everyone If anyone wants to wear a piece of jewelry and it's tarnished used baking soda, water make it a paste and your jewlery will look brand new afterwards. Thank you everyone

Do you have photos of the dress with and without the slip? That would help us give you advice on what looks best in our opinions Smiley smile

As for your shoes, I would just choose something comfortable. Personally, I would go with flats or sandals but if you want to wear heels, I would wear a chunky wedge rather than a stiletto.

You should not need a slip with a bridal dress. I am wearing flats with my dress because I am not a fan of heals, but that is a personal choice.

I think you'll be fine without a slip! I'd wear flats or fancy sneakers so you don't risk tripping or falling Smiley smile

    Hey there, Mary!

Thank you for the tarnished jewelry tip Smiley smile

If the dress isn’t see through and a slip isn’t necessary, you could forgo the slip if you’re comfortable!

With the shoes, are you typically comfortable in heels or would you prefer to wear flats? As Amber mentioned, if you want to wear heels, a chunky heel could be a good idea to give you more stability! Lots of brides wear flat on their wedding day. If you would feel safer wearing flats, go for it Smiley smile
