Slideshows still cool?

FH and I have been together for 5 years. Our wedding is tomorrow and our rehearsal dinner is tonight. I put together a slideshow of pics to play on repeat during the rehearsal dinner. It's a pretty good mix of baby pics, epics, and pics we've taken with friends and family along the way. There's no...

FH and I have been together for 5 years. Our wedding is tomorrow and our rehearsal dinner is tonight. I put together a slideshow of pics to play on repeat during the rehearsal dinner. It's a pretty good mix of baby pics, epics, and pics we've taken with friends and family along the way. There's no sound or anything, just about 15 minutes worth that will cycle over and over. Is this still a cool thing to do? Or should I skip it and just get a photo book made for us?

    I think it went pretty well. People seemed to enjoy it when they had lulls in conversation. It was pretty big on the wall, but there wasn't a designated time for us to watch it. The pastor even found some inspiration for her sermon from a few of the photos.
