Sleeves or no sleeves?

Sleeves! Mine were detachable.

A! Strapless Even though I was totally obsessed with sleeves and thought I may want that hahaha

At my first wedding, when I was 23, I had long sleeves even though the wedding took place in late June. At my second wedding, when I was 56, I had a strapless dress even though the wedding took place in October. I don't know why wedding dress designers seem so much more concerned with following this year's fashions than with designing things for different seasons of the year and different body types.

I guess you could call mine a cap sleeve? Sort of...

I wore 3/4 sleeves.

Cap sleeves all the way! That's what I started out wanting and that's what I got. I couldn't do strapless- I hate the way my "armpit fat" looks in strapless plus I didn't want to be pulling it up all night.

No sleeves, no straps for 1st dress. 2nd dress has an illusion neckline!

Although going in I swore I was going to get a long sleeve dress, in the end non of them looked good on me.

A! I went in not wanting a sleeveless dress but everything with sleeves or straps just didn't look right.

I love the last two picture options.

C) Little cap sleeves

I am doing strapless which I never in a million years would have imagined. I really thought I wanted long lace sleeves until I tried them on. On me they made me look super matronly.

So for those of you who wanted sleeves but found they made you look wider, do you think it was any kind of sleeve or a specific type?

My dress was strapless however I bought and accessory that gave the illusion of cap sleeves along with some vintage glam. And of course for some reason my picture is sideways.... Again

I have strapless but wanted sleeves. I just didn't find a dress with sleeves that suited me
