Anyone else pick a sleeveless dress but feel a lack of confidence in your arm flab? My weight has fluxed a lot in my life and I can see it it my arms. When I asked my friends and family, they all say that they don’t see what I see. I love my dress and it’s beautiful, but I feel self conscious about...

What have you all done to overcome your self-conscious uncertainty?

My wedding dress was sleeveless and I have lost a lot of weight and I was going to the gym before the wedding trying to get rid of the flab in my arms and I couldn't get rid of it and I am still going to the gym and I still cant get rid of the flab in my arms I dont there is a way to get rid of it honestly without going through cosmetic surgery. I was a very subconscious about my flabby arms too but I bought my gorgeous dress and I was in love with my dress and I couldn't get rid of the flab so I married the love of my life with flabby arms and all.

    Hi Amanda & Vee!

I am sure you will look perfect on your wedding day Smiley heart Insecurities are normal and like you said, the mantra, no one at weddings thinks about these things so it's best to not fixate on them. Focus on the attributes about yourself that you like... For example, from your little profile picture, I can tell you have a brilliant smile! Smiley heart

If you have any other questions throughout your wedding planning process, please don't hesitate to connect or post another discussion.

We are always happy to help!

I totally get how you feel. I think my arms are my worst feature and unfortunately I think its genetics and I can't do much about them. I generally wear a cardigan or something with sleeves because I don't like my arms to show, but I picked a dress that was sleeveless too. I'm just going to continue my workouts (I do kickboxing) and I'm going add some at home arm and upper back stuff, just to at least get me to feel a little more confident. I found this great video on youtube that is just ten minutes and was made to tone your arms for your wedding! She also does other videos to target other body parts in her bridal series. And the arm moves kill and you are only using your own body weight, no equipment needed! Here's the link if you feel like trying it out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSZb8EZtrPs

Either way you will look beautiful on your wedding day! And your fiance is marrying you for you and that is all that matters!!

I felt that planking and resistance bands did wonders for my arms! Make sure you moisturize those elbows should you take this up 💪🏼

It’s really comforting to know that I’m not the only bride out there who is self conscious of their arms and wearing a sleeveless gown lol I’ve gone back and forth so much about my dress JUST because of my arms. But no more! Haha thanks for the vulnerability y’all!

’ve also thought about spray tanning just to help keep my arm skin looking even, to keep the flab from being brighter than the top of my shoulder (you know?) idk if it’d even make that big of a difference..?

I agree! My dress was originally sleeveless but had them add spaghetti straps with rhinestones. It looks so much better & feel amazing!

I would definitely do before pictures. That is what has always helped me feel good about my progress!

You are very beautiful! I can advise you to try kulskulpting, effectively helps to fight fat in problem areas. I signed up for the procedure here https://mediluxe.ca/ I wish your family happiness and love!
