Sleeping apart when sick

Does anyone sleep apart when they are sick. I know we do cause I get bad migraines to where movement and any sounds hurt so bad. Now from a hysterectomy I had 10 months ago the muscles are being strange in my stomach. Very tender to movement going bathroom a lot. So I am not sure what will happen...

Oh yes, we've done this. The first time was when I had the flu, she couldn't get sick especially because we were helping our friend who was waiting for an organ transplant at the time. But she did put on a mask and brought the purell so she could bring me food and all the hot tea I wanted. I also had two surgeries (foot lumpectomy and hysterectomy) this year and we slept apart much of my recovery time. It sucks to be apart but we have made it work.

We sleep apart when sick/allergies are really bad. I also sleep apart when my period is really bad (usually the first day). This way, we can both sleep better and I'm less likely to pass it on.

We have a large reclining chair in the bedroom, so we'll usually sleep on that. It's nice to be in the same room - even if we're in different furniture.

If one of us is sick, getting bad sleep, or needs to wake up really early, the other person will sleep in the guest room. Neither of us want to get the other person sick and we're both light sleepers, so it is a necessary "evil" at times since once my H wakes up, he isn't able to fall back asleep. We upgraded to a king size bed at the beginning of the year, and that has been life changing as far as the quality of sleep we get now compared to what we used to get.
