Skipping the veil?

I am going to skip it. I have a few factors, I will be 31 when we get married, which I guess isn't "old" but I feel silly wearing a veil (in my own personal opinion) plus this is my second wedding. I will be wearing my hair down in some way and I have seen gorgeous hair pieces I'm thinking about doing.

No veil. I don't want to be bothered with one, I'm paying enough for my hair too- I don't want it covered up, or ruined in the process of taking it out. I bought a small hair comb off of Etsy, and it has little flowers that match our wedding colors.

If you do not like it, do not wear it!

I did not want a veil at all and skipped it. My mom was uneasy with my decision at first, so I did try several on to make sure I really did not like them and, well, each one I tried make me hate them more.

When I finally found the right headband, my mom got on board because she realized my look was already complete and it would be okay if I ended up not finding a veil I liked, too.

I had a veil but I also considered hair vines, flower crowns, and a blingy feather fascinator.

I'm not wearing one. I love the back of my dress and I felt like it took away from it. Plus I did not like the way it looked on me.
