If anyone has some great face wash or moisturizer suggestions I would love some or even just some skincare brands they love! I'm trying to get my skin to really look my best by my wedding day and I would like to start a new skin care regimen. I normally use clean and clear face wash and I don't think its doing anything for me. I also need a good moisturizer. I wouldn't mind spending some more money for some really good products! suggestions please Smiley smile Thanks so much!

Everyone's skin is different. I recommend going and getting a facial to determine your skin type and what's best for you. I started using Dermalogica recently and love it.

I've been considering purchasing one of the Mia, spin brushes. I'm wondering if it's worth it but I know I was good skin for the wedding day.

Everyone's skin is different. Have you thought about going to a med spa or dermatologist for them to evaluate your skin and recommend products? I just went to my dermatologist today to start working on my skin for the wedding. We did my usual Botox but also scheduled laser treatments and facials to do in the 6 months I have leading up to the wedding. She also recommended products for my particular skin issues. I think that would be your best betSmiley smile

I cleanse with coconut oil. Trust me, it works. I believe it's good for every skin type too.

I actually use Shea Moisture baby lotion as a moisturizer. Haha

Futuremrs.perry! I'm currently in school for esthetics and would love to help you! If you are into natural skin care check out Christine Valmy. Our products are all from botanical extracts and are formulated for even the most sensitive of skin types. First off i would reccommend a cleansing milk suitable to your skin type. Nothing that foams up because they are too harsh for the skin. Same thing with toner. You can get a mild toner with a medium alcohol content to clean the residue of the cleanser. Do this every evening. For exfoliation i love the aveno positively radiant 60 second in shower facial. It's a chemical exfoliator using alpha hydroxy acids to remove the top layer of dead skin cells. If youre oily use twice a week otherwise use once.

Then you can alternate with treatment masks. If you have breakouts use a mask to target bacteria with anti inflammatory ingredients. Look for tea tree, witch hazel salycillic acid.

If youre dry: use ingredients like aloe, sorbitol, seaweed, rose

If youre sensitive: use calming ingredients like camphor, chamomile, almond.

If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask

Go to a Sephora near you, they have skin experts that can recommend skin care based on your skin type and problems you want to manage. I went in last weekend and they recommended the Ren skin care line and 4 days in and I can already tell such a difference. There's a nice sampler pack of everything for like 30 bucks

Micellar water! I've always struggled with acne. Picked this stuff up on a whim and been using it religiously day and night and my skin has never been clearer.

I LOVE LOVE Beauticontrol products. It's one of those "direct sell" products. I have very very dry skin with eczema and since i switched to BC I dont have the eczema patches any more. My daughter uses the oily/acne line and her face cleared up amazingly. Its something like 97% natural made with botanicals, so i feel good using it as opposed to a bunch of chemicals.

HappilyEverAfter - I love it! It's hard for me to find good moisturizers that actually keep me hydrated the whole day. This one does Smiley smile I've been using it for about 2 months.

Angel D - the clarisonic is great but I would start fairly soon. It will cleanse really well, pulling everything out which can cause your skin to purge (aka break out) when you first start using it. It's normal and should go away after a few weeks but I'd start it now to see if you like it and if your skin likes it.

I'm a huge fan of Clinique facial products. I use they're liquid facial soap and dramatically different moisturizing lotion. I use this both day and night. For night I'll add in Lumene vitamin C Bright Now serum. I always get compliments on my skin.

I've recently fallen in love with Tata Harper's Clarifying Moisturizer. I've been using it every night. It smells amazing, and my skin has never looked better. The tone is really even and the blackheads I sometimes get have disappeared entirely.
