I want to see your dresses! Especially if you went with an a-line dress with a sweetheart neckline & lace fabric.

I'm feeling a bit discouraged after David's Bridal and looking at other boutiques in the area though none specifically cater to plus size brides.

EDIT: I just didn't like the dresses I tried at David's Bridal, but yes they have a large plus selection!

    Wear asize16-18 but my wedding dress was a 22. Had it taken in and sleeves added. Was severely underwhelmed with my David's Bridal Experience and had more luck with a local salon

    I found a bridal salon in my city that specializes in plus size. I'm a street 16 and ordered a 22. Love Maggie sotero's Emma but decided on essense of Australia d1999

    Here's the stock photo of mine from davids bridal. I live in Charlotte,NC and the closest store that had it in stock was Augusta,GA. The woman helping me was amazing and overnighted it for free since it was so close to my date. (Long story. Had to get a new dress 7 weeks out)

    I ordered my dress from David's bridal online it was a sample "as is". There is nothing wrong with it it is a size 22. Needs a little alteration and a lot of shortening but a great deal at $240

    Mine is a Maggie, a number of local shops carried plus size dresses. I tried on 12+ all in my size at the shop I found mine at. Call and ask local shops some may surprise you. I'm a street size 18 and my dress is an 18. Just take your time and look Smiley smile
