I don't think it has fully sunk in that in 9 days I will be marrying my best friend. Work has been super hectic and I've slowly been marking things off my wedding to-do list but it still doesn't feel entirely real.
So this Monday we had our final appointment (YAY!) and gave our head count/seating arrangement and final payment. Everything's all good, we're under our original count and it's one less stress to deal with, right? Wrong!
I get a call the next day while I'm super busy at work. I finally get a chance to listen to it and my aunt has informed me that she "broke out" a family member from the rest home and needs to add him onto the guest list. While I understand the situation (don't feel like going into that mess of a story) I am frustrated that they didn't let me know they were planning on doing this (we see each other a couple of times a month) and that they just stated he needs to be added instead of asking if we can add him. I called her back that night when I had calmed down and said we'll make it work but it would have been nice to know the day before.
So now we have to rearrange the seating chart and I'm hoping someone can't make it after all (was already a possibility) so we don't have to deal with another charge.
Ughhhhh.... anyway, it's not too big of a deal and I'm still super excited for next Friday!
