For those of you who saw my previous post, my FH was able to get a refund on the ring that the jeweler messed up! Yay! On the bright side of this whole mess, we get to pick out a new engagement ring that is better suited to me.

I am so not a jewelry person, at all, and we’d rather spend the money on a quality diamond than an extravagant-looking ring. I’ve always liked the look of cushion cut diamonds so we’re thinking maybe just that on a plain white gold band.

Share your simple solitaire rings please! Would like to get some more inspiration and hopefully will make it to an actual reputable jeweler next weekend lol

Beautiful! I love your band too! I love the look of diamonds on the band, but for some reason I guess I am weirdly sensitive, the feeling of diamonds on the band just feels uncomfortable on my fingers. Idk I feel like I’m the only person who’s actually bothered by that haha, but I wish I wasn’t because I love love the look of your band and others like it!

Thank you, Gen! Yes. They’re baguettes on either side. There’s something really special about a cushion. Just that slight change from dead round or dead square and it feels totally different. Best of luck with your choice and be sure to share when you do!

Ha! The diamonds end right where my fingers come together, so I can't even feel them.

I am such a sucker for cushion cut. I think they are so elegant. Can't wait to see a pic of your new ring!
