Simple solitaire rings

For those of you who saw my previous post, my FH was able to get a refund on the ring that the jeweler messed up! Yay! On the bright side of this whole mess, we get to pick out a new engagement ring that is better suited to me.

I am so not a jewelry person, at all, and we’d rather spend the money on a quality diamond than an extravagant-looking ring. I’ve always liked the look of cushion cut diamonds so we’re thinking maybe just that on a plain white gold band.
