Simple centerpiece

Hello fellow fall brides!!!
I know we are in here in hoards so let me ask you, I’m having my wedding at a state park in a pavilion and thinking of going the less is more route. I have small chalk signs I’ll be writing different locations to our favorite places and using a card holder to hold the photos of the place. A heart candle holder with Flameless candles inside. Nothing too crazy.
What are you doing ?

I think this sounds good Smiley smile There is nothing wrong with simple I think. Mine was a bowl with some floating candles, some fake flowers around it and some beads so it was very simple as well. I think it looked alright Smiley smile. I like the idea of writing your favourite places as well. Will that be from around America or around your area of the country or around the world? Smiley smile

That sounds really neat! I agree with the less is more approach. Flowers are very expensive these days, and to be honest, I never remembered the centerpieces from most weddings I’ve been to (only one where I helped them break down at the end of the night) so my family and I sought to DIY something to keep the cost down. We got IKEA wine glasses, floating candles, acrylic color pieces, and fake flowers from Joann’s. My parents were VERY enthusiastic about the little project *right after our engagement* but I let them have fun with it! They probably did it *way* too early (our table count has been decreasing as declines have come in) but they look fantastic and we are proud of their work!
I love your idea of including signs with your favorite places! I think it would even be so cool if you used those to identify tables instead of the usual numbers! 🤩 Congratulations and happy planning!

I wish I would have done the less is more....We will have white table cloth, fishnet kind of laid out messy, with a square mirror with a taller vase, with nautical rope with a nautical charm on top of that. My MIL to be painted vines on them, we will have gem stones in the bottom and a live gold fish with a flameless floating candle. We will have a smaller fish bowl with sand and shells inside with the table number painted on them next to the taller vase.

We're doing simple wreaths with greenery and white flowers, with three hurricane vases with pillar candles in the center. I'm making our table numbers in canva, they're black and white, they have pictures of me and my FH at that age (table 1 is us at age 1, etc) and says table # and our names and the wedding date. I'll put them in gold frames and that's it. Keeping everything simple. Our venue provides the white linens (tablecloths and napkins) so we're keeping those. Our ballroom is beautiful on its own so I wanted simple to let the venue speak for itself.

Yup that’s exactly what we are doing. Each table is a location from a vacation we’ve taken or a place we’ve been together. So the head table is the location of the wedding. Letchworth state park. The kids table is Virginia Beach and will have pictures of each place I’ve personally taken

We're using 12" barn stars, flameless candles, and bud vases. We're using a notebook to double as a table number and an anniversary suggestion book.
