Signature drink ideas?

Jessica, on June 17, 2020 at 11:04 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 4
Our venue is a winery and due to their policies we can only get beer and liquor that is made in Pennsylvania, so I can’t really get top shelf stuff which is ok. I’m thinking instead of getting a bunch of liquor to have a signature drink for both myself and fiancé, and then a few varieties of beer and then our venues wine selection. I’m struggling to think of two well liked drinks that most people like...I personally like rum and coke but my fiancé is a beer drinker. Has anyone done this and have any advice?

Cosmos/vodka cranberries or whiskey and soda (coke or ginger ale) are pretty common drinks. My husband and I decided to have fun with our signature drinks (we figured anyone who wanted a whiskey and coke can order one if they wanted, but the signature drinks were pur chance to make fun or less common suggestions). I did a French 77, which is champagne, elderflower liqueur, and lemon juice, and my husband chose a whiskey punch, and I forgot all the stuff in it. I have no idea what liquor is produced in Pennsylvania so I'm not sure what you can make based off that lol.

What kind of liquor is available? What about a mojito? Usually mint festivals in our area are held in August.

I'd definitely choose a cocktail with vodka as your second choice with rum & coke! 🍸

Moscow Mules are also a great call - I get so excited every time I see them as a signature drink!
