For our part favors we bought shot glasses that say
“take a shot we tied the knot” with our name and date on them. So I have an old window I was going to put a cute quote on. So we are doing a shot for the toast with the glasses after our speeches instead of a champagne toast. I was thinking something like “take a shot glass to make sure the memories last” but I’m really bad at being creative and I want a better cute way to tell them the glasses are for the toast. anyone else have any cute ways to reference they need to take a shot glass for the toast? “Take a favor to toast for later” aaah help I don’t know!

Hm... I feel like you should probably have someone in charge of giving those out. If you're having a full-service caterer maybe talk about having a server or bartender give those out. If not maybe an usher?

I like this idea! We were going to do it but we checked with our caterer before we did this. I think you should too. We told them we were going to do exactly this and they said that shots were not allowed nor were they allowed to fill the shot glasses with anything and we were not allowed to bring in any outside alcohol to fill them. So we had to ditch this idea. I don't mean to be a bummer but I would hate to see you get fined or something for doing this. If you already asked and its fine then great!

I really like "Take a favor to toast for later." We got the same shot glasses but won't be giving them out until later in the night.
